Leading Teams Directors involved with a Grand Final Team

October 15 2008

In 2008 Leading Teams had three teams Melbourne Storm Rugby League, Geelong Football Club, and Hawthorn Football Club in the Grand Final of their respective competitions.

In our third year with the Melbourne Storm Rugby League Club, Ray McLean assisted the Storm to the top of the table after the home and away series, unfortunately Manly were too strong on the day in the grand Final.

In the AFL competition Gerard Murphy continued his good work with Geelong Football Club and Kraig Grime continued with the Hawthorn camp after four years.  Both facilitators were able to meet during the pre game warm up as seen in this photo) and prior to moving to the respective Coaches boxes.

Hawthorn has been very quiet about their involvement in our Performance Improvement Program but nonetheless they have been as committed to the fundamentals of our philosophies as any client we have been engaged with.

Their commitment to an agreed set of behaviours, strategies, and measurements would rival any corporate client.

Nobody was as surprised as Kraig to discover that after keeping our work under wraps since 2005 components of the “trademark” underpinning the team’s behaviours was blazoned over the Team Banner before the game for all to see.

Our congratulations all our teams, but particularly to Hawthorn, and Kraig on a successful campaign.
